Queen of the Palace Foundation was Founded by Dr. Thabisile Audrey Msomi in 24 July 2015 after realizing that the majority of people were needlessly suffering because they did not know their worth. As a Spiritual Minister herself she has been helping people to come out of poverty or to come out of painful environment and situations only to find them going back to those situations again.
Having worked in the poverty-stricken communities e.g. Inanda, Malukazi, Kernville in Kwa-Zulu Natal Province, Dr. Thabisile A. Msomi had to come up with a new way of helping people either than just giving to them. As the old saying declared that ‘give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime’ which is translated that It is more worthwhile to teach someone to do something for themselves than to do it for them on an ongoing basis.
Queen of the Palace Foundation is an umbrella of a few sub-divisional organizations that deal with rehabilitating relationships and people’s character. Namely
- Counselling: Anyone who needs counselling, specializing on character building.
- Minister’s Wives: Women married to men of influence, helping them to overcome struggles that they face.
- Edenites: Single people who are interested to getting married. This was born after seeing many marriages falling apart after just a short period of time after a wedding day. A need arose to coach single people to prepare themselves for the married life.
- I am coming OUT!!! Campaign: Holistic rehabilitating support to but not limited to women and children that are sexually assaulted. Note our letter of Funding Proposal is aimed at this Campaign.
- I am your Father/Mother Campaign: Fatherlessness has had a negative impact on our families. The Number of child headed homes is increasing. This campaign is aimed at adopting a child for a day or over a period of time. Just to give the feeling of how it feels to the to have a Parent.
- Character rehabilitation Center: This is in the pipeline; still raising funds to build.
- As it is indicated above that Queen of the Palace Foundation is an umbrella of six divisions, therefore the scope of the population being served is vast, depending on each division. On average we can declare that the Queen of the Palace Foundation gives services to everyone who needs rehabilitation Emotional, Psychological, Spiritual and in Character building. To be specific
- Ministers Wives
- Fatherless/Motherless individuals.
- Children heading homes.
- Abused Women and Children.
- Sexually Assaulted Women and Children.
